Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Lewis Run, PA)

Job Description:
Verify parts and quantities of parts received match what is shown on vendor packing lists. Note missing or damaged cartons on packing slips or carriers’ bills of lading. Notify Production Manager of any discrepancies or damages. Operate forklift to load and unload trucks. Ensure that all necessary documentation for shipments including packing lists, bills of lading, certifications, etc. are complete and sent with shipment. Schedule freight pick-ups as needed. Receive and prepare shipments via ERP and UPS software. Stage incoming material at appropriate process locations. Take weekly supply inventory. Regular use of desktop computer including Microsoft Office software, Adobe PDF Suite, scanner, copier, fax, telephone and related ERP software. Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, packing lists, production travelers and certifications. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and project a professional image to visitors and customers.
Requires valid driver’s license. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb. Must be able to reach above and below shoulder and have fine finger manipulation.
Full-time hourly position.
M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm.
