Bradford, PA | Full-Time | 2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 4:00 PM- 2:30 AM | Starting Rate $18.00/hr
We are growing! Are you mechanically inclined and looking to build a long-term career in a clean, professional manufacturing environment? Allegheny Surface Technology is seeking reliable and safety-focused Shop Service Technicians to join our growing team.
Who are We?
We are Allegheny Surface Technology, and we are an industry leader in stainless steel surface finishing. We specialize in top-tier service to both shop and field customers, including electropolishing, passivation, and pressure vessel inspection, repair, and testing.
In this role, you’ll process customer-supplied stainless-steel materials using a variety of tools and equipment, following detailed procedures to achieve high-quality surface finishes. If you take pride in hands-on work and have a strong work ethic, this opportunity is for you. There are multiple shift options to choose from and can be discussed upon interview.
What You’ll Do
- Follow processing instructions to treat stainless steel materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Use pressure washers, air/electric tools, and industrial equipment
- Stage and secure materials using cranes, slings, and chains
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces
- Communicate with team members and supervisors
- Comply with all safety procedures and operational standards
Shift Options & Compensation
- 2nd shift (Monday- Thursday 4:00 PM- 2:30 AM)
- 4 day work week with 3 consecutive days off
- Starting wage: $18.00 – $20.00/hr (based on experience)
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- Trade school certificate a plus, but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow written/verbal English instructions
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
